We are facilitating tangible impacts.

Each chapter of Tech Literacy for Seniors is led by a motivated high school student. Aided by Tech Literacy for Seniors, chapter presidents mobilize student volunteers to provide free personalized one-on-one tech help for senior citizens. There are currently 6 student-led chapters of Tech Literacy for Seniors fostering intergenerational connections and facilitating real impacts across the US.

Rapid Growth

There are many chapters already created and several more on the horizon. Interested in starting a chapter? Support is provided at all stages of chapter creation.

Engaging with Seniors

More than 40 percent of seniors say they regularly experience loneliness, according to a UCSF study. Many of our student volunteers become great friends with senior program participants!

COVID-19 Crisis and Continuity

Seniors are one of the most at-risk groups during this coronavirus pandemic. Some chapters are quickly responding by transitioning their chapters to online/virtual services.

Even though in-person events are temporarily suspended, Tech Literacy for Seniors is striving to continue aiding seniors.
